The complex is located at 130 Old Hope Road, Kingston 6 and boasts a modern design by Zuar Ltd. The Tastee Liguanea Complex is home to a Tastee retail store and also a café owned and operated by Tastee Ltd. called Brew’d Awakenings For decades, the patty giant has remained a household name throughout Jamaica by providing its citizens with the delicious patty meals, amongst other scrumptious Jamaican cuisines. Tastee has now expanded its menu offerings at its Liguanea store, offering delights such as
Continental Breakfast which includes waffles, pancakes, egg wraps and more. Lunch and Dinner offerings includes seafood and chicken alfredo pasta dishes, beef burgers, grilled pork chops and more.
The location is open 7 days a week, Monday – Saturday 7 am – 9 pm and Sunday 7am – 5 pm.
Brew’d Awakenings Ja. offers a variety of wraps, paninis, sub-sandwiches and burgers. A multiplicity of beverage choices, includes espressos, hot beverages, signature cold brews, frozen treats, alcoholic beverages and a wide assortment of delectable pastries. Tastee Limited noticed that the Liguanea complex is a tremendous undertaking for the Tastee Group of Companies. We are the largest Jamaican owned quick service restaurant (QSR) with 51 locations and as such, in outlining our plans for growth, conceptualised a complex that would cater to a wide cross section of demographics.
Brew’d Awakenings is a new addition to the Tastee family and with Liguanea being our flagship location, we thought it the most suitable location to begin with,” she said. Goulbourne went on to state that Brew’d Awakenings is a separate operation from the Tastee retail store because they have chosen to target a new demographic. “Having done our research, we saw that there was a need within the Liguanea area where business professionals, university students and families wanted a space where they could enjoy great coffee and meals at an affordable price,” she added.
